OM – Orchestra Model

The guitar OM - Orchestra Model was born at Martin in the '30s. It's one of the first guitars with the neck that joins the body at the 14th fret and a scale slightly longer. This solution was designed to meet the new techniques of the musicians who began to use the keyboard in its entire length. It has now become a classic, a reference model for many luthiers. It's a guitar balanced in sound and suitable for fingerstyle. The sound it produces is still influenced by the choice of woods and the inner structure. In this video you can hear it played by Michele Lomuoio.
